UPDATE: Argentina #7

Today was spent spending and shopping till dropping. The colorful San Telmo barrio and its famous market are filled with artisans, antiques dealers, knick-knacks and bric-a-brac. Caveat emptor emptier.

I saw no good reason not to have empanadas for breakfast, and Liz’s “Quiche Ratatouille” was the only quiche I’ve ever enjoyed. Dinner at Crizia will be a lifetime memory - Bloody Mary’s, raw oysters, tuna tartare, scallops with pappardelle, shrimp and baby squid with rice, a 2012 Michel Rolland Val de Flores Malbec, then a fine port with dessert of assorted ice creams and quince crumble. Not even a burp.
