UPDATE: Argentina #1

Bienvenidos a Argentina!

It’s called Buenos Aires - Good Airs or Fair Winds - which is fair, since flying in was a breeze. In its early days, I suspect that was a marketing ploy to attract the sailing ships. And it worked. In our first promenade through the city, we saw plenty of European influences in architecture, food and culture, especially Spanish and Italian.

We have yet to really sink our teeth in, but did manage to enjoy some fresh pasta and salad at a trattoria where local families were enjoying their Sunday dinner.
