Liz and I visited a brothel today. It was closed - since 79 AD. For future reference, when the earth shakes, the animals run away, and steam starts rising from Vesuvius, it's time to get out of Pompeii city. And Naples, a city of 3.6 million, has an evacuation plan for the next eruption, which is due … NOW! I recommend evacuating down the Amalfi coast to Positano, like we did today. Citrus fragrance, bikinis, and breathtaking views everywhere.

Had the best baby octopus in my life - really! And eggplant parmigiana, burrata and tomato salad, sea bass, tempura of calamari, octopus, shrimp, anchovies, red pepper and onion, lemon sponge cake, and limoncello.
